History’s Many Voices: Learning How Visual Sources Speak

This workshop is the second in a series of three workshops planned for this academic year that will introduce participating educators to new sources on Eurasian history and new skills to explore those resources in the classroom.

This day-long workshop has been designed specifically for educators interested in exploring how visual primary sources can tell the stories of the present and past. This immersive event will explore how maps, photographs, and statistics can bring events to life, providing powerful tools to engage your students and deepen their understanding of places and events. Through hands-on activities and collaborative lesson planning, you will discover innovative ways to integrate these visual resources into your curriculum, fostering a richer and more interactive learning experience.
